It is snowing at Cards in Envy!

It's time for our first challenge for 2014! And since many of us are experiencing winter weather, this time we are asking for cards that feature one or more SNOWMEN!

This challenge will run January 6-19.  The card must be an A2 and a card that will fit into an envelope with only 1 stamp, so it must not be thick.  If rules are not followed it will be deleted.

This is what I came up with:
I needed some Christas Thank you cards so I started with some sparkle letters I have.  I used Winter Wonderland paper from MME, a frame from Reflections, and some chipboard snowflakes and house with snowman stickers from MME.  I think it came out very nice to send out.

I hope to see you come over and play.

New Challenge at Love to Scrap!

Love to Scrap!  ( has a new challenge that starts today, January 6 and goes through January 19th.  The challenge is anything goes, which all of you can do -- so come on over and play.

My card looks like this:
I used black cardstock for the card, a reflections frame turned to make a diagonal shaped frame, some bling on every corner, MME Lost and Found, and the digital image from The Paper Nest Dolls named Hatter Owen colored with Distress Markers and fussy cut out.  I used the Sentiment from MFT -- Always time for tea.

The prize to the winner of this challenge will be a
$25 gift certificate to online store (good for digital and rubber stamps)
at The Paper Nest Dolls.

Hope to see your card.

I will be entering this card in these challenges:
Challenges 4 Everybody -- Anything Goes
Come and Get it -- Something New (digi)
Great Impressions -- Something New (frame & Digi)

Sweet Treats

Happy New Year to everyone!!!  Where did 2013 go and I hope 2014 goes slower.
I want to share a layout I did using the Kreaxions Star Template and punch #905.

Here is my layout:

and here is a close up of one of the three star templates I did.

You can make your paper look like a custom doily using whatever punch you want.  It is very easy to do and all you have to do is read this tutorial and it comes out perfectly.

The items I used on thi layout was the Star Template

and punch #905 using insert "A" and my bling heart is covering the center point.

Have a wonderful 2014 and be CREATIVE!!!!
