Here is a card that I created for Unscripted Sketches #48 using Pastels, flowers and pearls. This was not easy to photograph, but I loved the soft colors how they melted away.

3 Weeks of Treasured Scrapbooking Contest
I have not blogged the rest of the 4 week contest at Treasured Scrapbooking, because I have been so busy. So today you get to see week 2
On the left is a close up of the flowers I made and on the left is the picture of the Lavender fields I took in June in Highland Spring, CA. I love the picture and you know I love lavender.
Now on to week 3
This challenge had us using complementary colors and I choose the blue and orange and used a reverse of symmetry. This was hard for me to grasp, but it did come out and I love the title "Silly Boys", because for them to pick up each other is a miracle.
Last, is week 4 and we were to combine all the techniques we have learned. I know my cousin has loved the flowers I made so I decided to make this layout and put it into a frame for her birthday of when we went to Vegas in November. This shot was taken just after the waters had stopped dancing. I made the flowers again and shimmered them with Tattered Angels using the basic colors of Blue and Orange. I choose Marrakech paper by Basic Grey and this is how it came out.

Happy Wednesday Chai day!
Beautiful bright day today. This saddens me that people go out of their way to be cruel to other people.!
You can run, you can hide, you can change your alias, but in the end you are still who you are!
You and you only can take responsibility for your actions no one can force you to do anything!
Please if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all!

Flower Challenge at Scrapfit
Well I have issued a challenge at Scrapfit and I would love for you to come try it out.
I know Spring is coming, but not fast enough, so my challenge is to make your own flowers and make a layout or card. Have fun and search the internet for all the different kinds of flowers. It could be like the one I did, a ribbon flower, the lollipop flower, or whatever you would like.

A Day in the Life of....
I was selected at Scrapfit to do Workout #15 and here it is. The title was "A Day in the Life of...) I believe this was a hard layout because I never scrap myself. I tried to show what I did along with some embellishments. Doing this layout I used Tattered Angels on the flowers and a little bling.
I hope you enjoy this.
Come over to Scrapfit and try the challenge -- you have 2 weeks from today.
