Made 2 cards using HSN new folders

Today I stayed home from work due to the nasty weather.  So I thought I would post them and show them to you.  I used the new Romance Folders that HSN was selling for the CuttleBug.  So here they are:
this one is using the Queen of Hearts.  I used Cor'dinations and sanded it and then punched out hearts with a pink polka dot paper and placed them with a pop up dot above the hearts.  My son will love this.

I made this one using the flourish folder and used white cardstock then went over with red ink pad to accent what was embossed.  I then added red bling to accent the swirls.  Around the flourish I put a red & white polka dot, ruffled ribbon to make a frame.  It really looks better in person.

Bailey Loves Me

I have done several layouts about Jager and Bailey isn't around, so I thought it is his turn.  He even sat in the same chair that Jager sits in.  I took about 40 shots to get about 5 good shots of him and his many faces.  I did this for a challenge from ScrapFit that was to scraplift a layout from a DT.  Amyee did a quilt challenge (called Bundle Up) for a weekend crop (Winter Wonderland Crop) and this is where this idea came from.

What I got to work on during "ME" time.

Well on Saturday I decided to give myself some "ME" time and came up with these 2 layouts.  I hope you enjoy this.

This layout was done for the favorite photo's of 2009 at Treasured Scrapbooking.  It was hard to select the ones I really liked.  I picked family times, places we have gone and the dogs.

This one is for a challenge over at Unscripted Sketches #38.  I turned the sketch once I printed it out and saw it immediately.  We joke that Bailey needs to go on a diet, well when he was having trouble going through his doggie door -- it is offical he is dieting.  The pictures go in order, and I had to run inside and outside.  With him being kinda stuck I had plenty of time to do this.  The title is :
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Reasons to Diet  (so appropriate).

I use TomBow Adhesive to make layouts and cards

Hello,
I had a busy weekend creating some layouts and a card.  There were several weekend crops and I did a few besides other things that needed to be done.

Here are the layouts I did for Treasured Scrapbooking.  The challenge was to do a layout using white background.  I tried something new with the ribbon on the side and it came out perfect and added so much.
Next I did a layout about Disneyland and added buttons to make them look like Mickey Mouse.  The challenge was to use 10 of something and I used 12 buttons.

Last i decided to Step Outside of my Box with that challenge and use the new sewing machine I got for Christmas.  I wanted to start small so I decided to make a card and since Valentines day is coming that is what i choose.

Last I tried a challenge on ScrapFit and it was to have a Disney like title or theme.  So I took my nightime picture of the castle and put it in a frame.  I used Mickey as my inspiration and had fun with it.

Now for all these layouts and cards I want to tell you I use TomBow.  I am entering these into a contest sponsored by them.

It's a Resolutions Crop at Treasured Scrapbooking!!!

Jan 7 2010 through Jan 10 2010

It's a new year and a time to reflect on the past year and plan for the new year. Not everyone makes resolutions every year but most everyone has some thoughts about things they would like to accomplish, things they might want to make a better effort at and things they might want to change, and usually the beginning of each new year is a time when these thoughts come to mind. So we, at Treasured Scrapbooking, are going to go with the flow, and hope that you will join us for the ride! So whether you make resolutions, steer yourself towards a focus or create an Ideal Scene for yourself, we will have challenges for you to complete that will allow you to get them down on paper...and glue, and embellishments, and....well you get the idea

Each Design Team member has chosen a resolution of sorts to work on and some of the ideas you will see have something to do with:

Weight Loss

Go Green

Clean

Budget

Volunteering

Organize

Quality Time

More Me Time

You will love the way the Design Team has interpreted the themes above! And as if completing new challenges and new pages or cards isn't enough, there will be prizes too!!!

I know you are intrigued, so mark your calendars, add it to your list of things to do, and get yourself on over to Treasured Scrapbooking on January 7th to join in on the fun!

1 Hour Scrap at ScrapFit

I had one hour to follow this sketch from ScrapFit and here it is:

The green area is for me to journal, but in 1 hour, that is the only part I didn't finish.  I should take a picture of it finished now.
