Anything but a card for Love to Scrap!! Challenge Blog
Love to Scrap! is already on Challenge #8. That is so hard to believe. For this one we used Bugaboo Digital Stamps. I used Coffee Time - Java Great Day and Coffee Time - Java Great Day Sentiment. I wanted to make a gift, since I am working on some Christmas gifts early.
I bought a wood frame, burlap, some twine, used a 3 1/2" circle punch and another punch, some stickles, some cardstock and my favorite glue -- glossy accents. I also found some paper by Canvas Corp. that went perfect with the coffee theme.
This is what I came up with and hope she likes it:
I forgot to say I even rounded the corners and used modge podge.I would love to see you come play at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog
I am also entering this in The Twinery -- anything goes using twine. Love the twine and the color CAPPUCCINO.

Sketches: Creatively Yours has a new sketch up
I have not scrapped the dogs in along time. It was a nice day the other day and I was outside working in the yard and out came my buddies. I got my camera and got some fun shots of them lying around. Usually they squirm too much to be in 1 shot together, but it worked that day .
I started with the inspiration that Ali gave us on Sketches: Creatively Yours
It did not come to me right away, then I found the paper I could use. It was Bella Blvd -- Birthday Boy. I took the heart page and the navy & white polka dot pages. I mounted it on light blue cardstock, and knew I was using the black and white. I knew I had so chipboard hearts around so that matched the paper as it was and then found a yellow and blue polka dot flower. I had everything I thought of so the I looked at the sketch.
I pulled the picture and the journaling card and went to work. I had some left over blue & white paper so punched it with the EK Success dog paws. Outlined the title in black and added the flower with a brad in the center. I had fun with this once the supplies were all there.
This is what I came up with:
and here is my journaling which made the whole page.
Come on over and pay with us. I would Love see what you take from the inspiration. It is fun to see all the differences in how people perceive it. Thanks Ali for another great sketch. Hope to see you at Sketches Creatively Yours

I fell in Love with the sketch at Cards in Envy!
Today starts the new sketch at Cards In Envy. This challenge goes from June 3 - 16th. Just a reminder that you can only create an A2 (4.25" x 5.5") card that fits in an envelope with no lumpy bumpy flowers, buttons or embellishments.
This is sketch #5 :
I had fun playing with this. I found some scraps that did not have the line on the bottom of the paper, pulled some cardstock and found some SRM Sentiment Stickers and a Martha Stewart Doily. I put the Happy Birthday on some cardstock that matched and then cut he ends to look like a flag.
Here is my card:
I hope to see you come play at Cards in Envy and I would love to see what you do with the sketch.
