Hi Everyone,
I am sharing this DT call since it is one of my favorite sites, as you know I have guested there and would love to become a maven.
A Sketches in Thyme Design Team Call!!
Would you like to be a Sketchy Maven? The 6 month term for our talented Mavens is drawing to a close, and while some will be staying on, we are looking for new members to join our Sketches in Thyme design team! If you enjoy creating layouts from sketches, participating in blogs and motivating others to take part in challenges, this might be your chance to be a part of our Design Team! Your term would run May-October 2012, and you would be asked to complete 2 layouts per month. If you would like a chance to be considered, here's what you need to do:
1-Create a new layout based on our sketch below.
2-Post about our DT call on your blog, along with your take on our sketch.
3-Leave a comment here by April 20th telling us that you would like to be considered for the DT, along with a link to your blog post. Be sure to include your email address so we can get in touch with you!!
Don't forget, our Design Team Call runs until April 20th, can't wait to see your take on our fun sketch!!
So here is my take on it after I turned the sketch to look like this.
This i the way I put it and I realize it is on it's side, but I used Nikki Sivils new line of paper, some twine, green card stock, some brads and thickers. So here is what I came up with.
Good luck to all who try out.
Nice layout Karen! Good luck!

ReplyDeleteIt's like your blog title! This layout screams calm to me, from the photos to the colour green. I love it! Good luck to you, Karen!
ReplyDeleteKaren, this is a great design. I like how you turned the sketch to suit your purpose and tied the twine around the photos to add focus. Wonderful! Thanks too for stopping by my blog on the Momenta/PSA blog hop this weekend. Your comments were so kind and greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Karen. Great color combo. Love the title letters and how you used the twine. :o)
