Hello and welcome to a new challenge at Cards in Envy!!
Today's challenge finds us adding to our card anything that has an engine. I had to think on this awhile and then saw the team was using all kinds of engines and it got my mind thinking. I needed a few summer birthday cards and I had this ice cream truck left over from a layout and thought it would be perfect.
So this is what I came up with:
I think it will work for my friend's celebration next week. (I hope she isn't looking at my blog this week, but she won't know it is for her.) Fun to create using left over paper (again) and twine. I made a little flag with a stamped Happy Birthday and attached it with a blingy type of brad.
Come on over and play with us,but remember we'd like to see your A2 (4.25" x5.5") card creations that feature things with motors that one can "rev up." Think motorcycles, cars, airplanes, helicopters etc. Any transportation type vehicle that has a motor that revs up.
Remember, your card needs to be relatively flat (no lumpy, bumpy embellishments, flowers, buttons etc.) The total thickness of your card and the envelope should be no more than 1/4" so it will fit through the USA post office guide, if it's thicker than that, it will cost extra postage and will not be a card for our Cards in Envy challenge.
I LOVE the ice cream truck! Such a great idea for the Rev It Up theme! ~ Marilyn
