Hello,
This weekend I did several pages at Roughley Manor and I would like to share one with you. In November I saw Tim Holtz and he signed my jacket and my friends took pictures and I decided to scrap it using the sketch from My Scraps & More.
Here is the sketch:
and here is my take on it:
I even got to put the umbrella man that was on the jacket on the page.

SNOWMEN CARDS
Hi everyone,
Well, it is December and the holiday's are approachng very quick this year. So I sat down with my kit from Jillibean Soup and modified it t fit what I wanted to do with it.
The supplies I used were: cardstock, Jillibean Soup, pearls, glitter, Studio Calico snowflakes, Trendy Twine in the Christmas color, Trendy Tape, an Doodlebug Snowmen. I think I got all my supplies except for pop dots to make things higher up with dimensions and my trusty adhesive.
These card were made for the two challenges I have over at My Sketch World and the challenge from Trendy Twine to use Candy Cane and/or Holl Berry. I used Candy Cane and have more to make using it.
Here is one:
and here is the second one using most of the same supplies:
I love those little snowmen -- they make it perfect.

Me & My MEN
With the weather being gloomy I have been scrapping some of the professional pictures we took before Thanksgiving. I have found some fabulous looking sketches and I have the paper so I went to town on them.
This sketch is from My Scrap & More, and is only their 4th sketch and they get better and better each week. Of course having some extra time really helps me to be able to do these.
Here is the sketch:
and here is my take on it:
I used:
Maya road buttons finished off with twine
EK success punch
Fishtail flags from Dienamics
and Farm House -- Market Square paper

Food Time (at Thanksgiving dinner)
I used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme
I used Authentique's Thanksgiving fall paper and backed it in kraft paper, a calendar outlined in a hemp braid, Studio Calico Wood Veneer octagons with Prima letters inside. I also used a burlap pleat on the top. The pictures are from our Thanksgiving dinner at Olive Garden on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

BROTHERS!
This weekend instead of going Black Friday shopping I went to a Black Friday Crop and this is one of the layouts I did.
Just got some professional pictures of the MEN after I bribed them, I only get these about every 5 years but I will take that.
Anyway I used Prima's Tim Keeper Cog type embellishments, twine, cardstock and thickers scrabble like letters. I also used the sketch from Boys Rule Kits.

Adventure (in Ireland)
Hello,
Still working on Ireland. I used the sketch from My Scraps & More2 and it worked perfectly with Bo Bunny's new Travel Line. I found it came together quickly and the only thing I added that was not from the line was the wooden button with twine. I can't wait for the next sketch tomorrow.
and here is how mine looks
Hard to tell but every other square at the bottom is popped up along with the camera and the arrow on top.

HALLOWEEN FUN
Hi Bloggers,
I am catching up from not blogging in a while. My son never sends me Halloween pictures, but this year he did so I decided to scrap it since I had some Halloween paper and wanted to try the sketch at My Scraps & More. This is the first sketch on the blog and a new one I will follow.
Here is the sketch:
I did the layout and found out the only reason he dressed was so he could go get the deal at Chipotle. I thought his make-up looked spectacular and work enjoyed how this "Zombie" looked.
I had fun with the stickers and buttons.

Thanksgiving cards for my friends
Hello Everyone,
I have been slacking and not posting, well I am kicking myself and setting goals for me to get busy. I have been scrapping and making cards but have not been showing you, so forgive me.
The other day I sat down and made 6 Thanksgiving cards. I wanted to get these in the mail since that Holiday will be here before you know it. I used Jillibean Soup Thanksgiving Paper, their accessories and their ideas, with my modifications to come up with these cards. I love the fall colors and the differences in all of them.
Enjoy and be creative.

Sketches in Thyme Design Team Call -- My New Bike
I took a little vacation and I am back. I did this layout for Sketches in Thyme for their try out for the Design Team. I love their sketches and this is no exception. I used the new line from Fancy Pants called The Good Life -- paper and embellishments, with some added twine. I thought it was appropriate for Kenny's birthday present of a comfort bike that he wanted. He was like a little kid with his new bicycle, the only thing missing was a bell and streamers.
This was the sketch:
Don't you love it. I do, I get fantastic inspiration from their sketches.
Now this is what I did:
Loved the chipboard buttons to add the color.

WCMD Cards
I know yesterday was World Card Making Day and I finished making a couple of birthday cards using the challenge at SRM Stickers. I used my birthday border stickers in ways I had never thought of. I just had to use the ideas of the DT's so I tried what Shannon did and here is what I came up with:
I used Little Yellow Bicycle --Hello Spring, cardstock, twine and SRM Stickers. I also used this for a challenge on My Sketch Word #2, which wanted us to use animals.
The next card is the idea from Clare:
I used SRM Stickers, cardstock, doily, and twine.

Trendy Twine Challenge
This is a repost from when my dog ate the letter "B" a couple of weeks ago. I never showed you what it looked like finished. Remember I used Tim Holtz technique on the letters, used a Polaroid look on the pictures of my sons and wrapped it in twine from Trendy Twine in the color of Chocolate Sprinkle. I added a little ribbon to give it accent and did it for the challenge on Trendy Twine during the month of September.
and here is a close up so you can see.

2 Birthday Cards
Today is Day 30 and the last day of September. I did it!!!! I posted everyday and made something new to show you and I can say I got a lot of things done. I started out posting at midnight and now it is 10:30 and I am finally posting but still part of Sept. 30th. I hope you enjoyed my work.
Today I did 2 birthday cards.
The first one is using Little Yellow Bicycle -- Hello Spring, some velvet scalloped ribbon, banner dies from MFT, and SRM Stickers.
The second is Using Jillibean Soup -- Spotted Owl Soup, cardstock and SRM Stickers.
Hope you have enjoyed all my work this month -- I was busy and did a lot more than I usually do.
** Note I realized it was only September 30th today and not yesterday so I am working on a layout to post real soon.

Alcohol Ink Christmas Ornaments
Day 28 and the realization that Christmas will be here in less than 3 months. So I went to Hobby Lobby and got some clear square shaped ornaments and loved how Tim Holtz did the July tag with alcohol ink and a can of air. So I went onto ranger site and sure enough they did a Christmas ornament their also. I used the colors of Silver,Red Pepper, and Clover and came up with this. I tried to get a good picture, but the beauty of it is not coming through. I am going to try more using P)earl with the colors and see what happens. I tied a bow on top, but might change that to ribbon, not sure.
This is all the same ornament just took the pictures at different angels to try to show you what it looked like.
