I did this layout for ScrapFit Challenge #10 and used Cosmo Cricket -- snorkling paper. I thought it kinda looked like ornaments and matched the idea of a Christmas Card. Of course I added Bling to jazz it up with Thickers. The challenge was to use Cosmo Cricket Paper and a word dealing with Christmas.
O -- orange
R -- red
N -- no journaling
A -- adhesive
M -- Mickey's Trees
E -- embellishments
N -- notice I used Thickers
T -- trees
S -- scraps

24 Ornaments
Here are 24 ornaments I made for my Ornament Exchange group I have been going to for over 5 years. Believe it or not I used my card making supplies and scrapping items. I bought the clear ornaments last year on clearance and the inside (that is red) is red glitter from Martha Stewart, the green felt is from Queen & Co. and is felt border. I have ribbon to hang it from. They were fairly simple once I got going and turned it into 4 different steps and made them on an assembly line.
This is a single ornament up close so you can see the sparkle and how well it is coated with glitter. I had to use Future Floor Wax to get the glitter to stick evenly. Bet you wouldn't think of doing that. Can't wait to see this on my tree this year.

Trying out for DT on Christmas Cards All Year Long
Here is a Christmas Card I did for the challenge over at Christmas Cards All Year 'Round to try out to be a DT. I was to use their banner for the inspiration. I don't usually use these colors, but i feel it came out just as I visioned it.
I also did this card with the leftovers using the same paper and embossing with my new CuttleBug folder from HSN. I cut the ornaments out of the printed paper and popped them up on some of the embossed ornaments and added ribbon. I used the same colors of pink, green and brown. These are really non tradiaitonal colors, but you are seeing them more and more in Christmas Paper. My paper is made by SEI.
Thanks for looking at my cards.

Busy time of year and Santa
Well, I have been busy creating and have not been listing all I have done.
I thought I would share my Santa picture with you. The Men are to old to do this so Jager Meister volunteered, even though he thought he was only going for a ride in the car. It was tough to do on my own, but it worked. Santa and Jager were looking at the camera for the stores picture at PetCo and I slipped a shot that is why they weren't looking at me.
I have made a calendar with Kenny & his girlfriend for her November birthday, almost finished an album for my cousin and I think it has like 30, 12 X 12 pages of various events we have done since August, Christmas Cards, Birthday Cards, and Thank You cards for after Christmas.
Have a great season and I will start loading my creations soon.

Halloween cards for friends
I made several cards that used the same paper from Creating Memories with their ghost embellishments. I used Michael's Halloween colored polka dot ribbon with a Stampin'Up circle scallop punch that was put through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dot Folder. Incidentally, I gave them to my friends at work today and they loved them.

My Ghostly Card for Unscripted Sketches
Here is a card I made from the Unscripted Sketches # 27
I just love the paper that I happened to see on Clearance at M's. I had the rub On's and got a chance to use them. I usually give my buddies at work a card and a little treat to make the day fun.

Monochromatic Card for Cuttlebug Spot #52
Hello everyone, I have been busy and sat down and made a HI card that I embossed for the Cuttlebug Spot Challenge. It was supposed to be monochromatic so I choose shades of pink. I used the new Quikutz folder for the flowers, a Stampin'Up sizzlet that says HI and embellished with bling. I also used some Core'dination paper, which I am in love with.

Fall and Halloween Cards Together
I was looking for more challenges as I do during the week and found that a new one is up on Cuttlebug Challenge #52. It fit these 2 cards I did and I have another couple to make. In my Thanksgiving card I used the new Quikutz folder and I love how it came out. I also added just enough bling.
This one I made to give to the Ladies at work that i have lunch with. I got this CuttleBug folder and die last year, but learned to love it this year. I also found the right ribbon of black and orange polka dots. I think I will try and make a few more using orange Cor'dination paper and sand it.
Thanks for looking.

The finishing of the Party for the Cuttlebug Challenge #50
This Post will show you my last item from the month long challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge #51. Our challenge was to make a Thank You card that fit the party theme. Here is what I did. I embossed using the Thank You embossing plate and cut it up with glitter inbetween and of course I added fluff to the top.
I also cut out one of the Thanks and put glitter around it. I had fun doing this and I will also list the whole set for the Red Hat Tea Party.

World Card Making Day
Happy World Card Making Day!!!!
Today I made 5 cards doing the challenges over on Treasured Scrapbooking. I have 6 more to do by tomorrow night.
I thought I would share what I have worked on.
This card is my favorite using my CuttleBug and bling.
The one to the right is a challenge to use 4 different trims. I thought it would be hard, but it came together rather easy. I used ric rak, grosgrain ribbon, satin ribbon and polka dot ribbon. Once again I used up my scraps from Kitchen Spice.
Here is a Halloween card I made using the Cuttlebug that had a die and an embosser. I found some orange and black polka dot ribbon and some orange little balls. It came out nice.

Last card I made using a sizzix embossing plate is this birthday card. I sanded this one also and used as an accent some ribbon.
Tomorrow I will make more and see how many challenges I can finish. Hope you enjoyed these.

Unscripted Sketch #25 was fun to do
This card is my take on Unscripted Sketches #25. I like the colors and I got to use up some of the scraps that I have from the Bo Bunny "Kitchen Spice" collection. I even got to use half of my favorite die cut from Stampin'Up called Top Notch. Then I got to use my favorite Cuttlebug folder called Dotted Swiss.

Centerpiece for Challenge #50
Here is my centerpiece for the Cuttlebug Challenge #50. I have my famous mug with the boa fluff, then a small teaspoon, a tea bag, and then I added 2 flowers (one in front and back).
I am also putting a picture without the flowers. I am not sure which way I am going.
The mug is a Red Hat mug and will be given away to the lady who has a mark on her chair.
I embossed with dotted swiss folder the 2 flowers and of course the mug.

Taylored Expression Challenge for Key Ingredient Kit
Here is a card I have done using Bo Bunny's Kitchen Spice Line. I did a challenge using an apron template that I decorated with buttons and ribbon. Inside I made it simple and said "What's Cooking?" I am going to give it to a hostess to go pamper herself and write her a personall note. I did this for Taylored Expressions using the Key Ingredient Kit.

Mini Album for Cuttlebug Challenge #49
I didn't think I would make the deadline, but I worked hard on this
I went looking through my stuff that I have been collecting
and I found a mug mini album that I bought for "later". Well
later has come and it was perfect for this Red Hat Album.
I decorated the 3 sets of pages, but know I will add more blings and
flowers when I get the pictures in December. I CuttleBugged each page
before I adhered them to the chipboard with my favorite "Swiss Dots" Folder. I also cut out
flowers and ran them through the swiss dots. I put some bling in the center of the flowers. I had some hats, so I put them in the album and added ribbon to the ring on the handle.
The front I used my glittery letters and of course my boa fluff.
This was made for Cuttlebug Challenge #49 with the theme of Red Hat Tea Party. Here is what the whole grouping looks like so far. There is an invitation, gift bag, card and now a mini album and they all have the boa "fluff" on them.

I love the colors and the paper from Bo Bunny.

Challenges I finished
Last week was very busy due to school and I could not get the challenge done for Unscripted Sketches #23, so yesterday when I was scrapping with friends, that was the first one I did. I loved the sketch for the Men in my life, not too happy about the mohawk, but at least he doesn't do drugs.
Now the card I did is for Unscripted Sketches #24. That came together very easy and I loved, did I say loved the sketch.

Happy Cardmaker I am
I have just been having so much fun making cards lately following blogs, being challenged with it I have grown so much in the last three months as a crafter. I have all you blog challenge people to thank. I am looking forward to all my new adventures and of course getting my Thesis done which is gonna take away from my crafting here but I promise to take time out each weekend to do at least two challenges so that I get the creative outlet that I need in life. I definetly will need a break. I am doing a retreat for a weekend of nothin but scrapping , gifts and cards. Speaking of which I get to crop this weekend again I have had such a great month I am just still wearing a happy smile from the experiences and people I have met. Thank you all. I have become addicted to sketch blogs I love to play along with as many as I can. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone I hope I did this post right it's a scheduled one so I hope that I did it right
Also I am gonna be sending some cards to Heros.org hopefully I can send them off soon to them since it takes forever to get to them and they have time to send to their families. I feel really good to be doing this they deserve it!

More Red Hat Birthday Items for CuttleBug #48
This week on Cuttlebug Challenge #48 they are doing more Birthday items. This week we were to do a Birthday Party Gift Item container and a Birthday Card. My theme is a Red Hat Tea, so I used the same mug, this time purple sparkly letters, and I put red fluff around (I know it is a boa fabric, but don't know the proper name) on a Red gift Bag. I ran the Mug through the CuttleBug with the Swiss Dot Folder before I put the letters on.
The card is made in Purple since the Birthday Girl wears a purple hat to distinguish her birthday. I added the same purple letters the bag has and the same size mug in purple, with the lasting touch of the purple fluff. (My dogs have loved having the fluff float around like feathers when you cut it.)

ICSketches #33 with a Christmas Touch
This card sketch from ICSketches #33 really had me thinking all week. It wasn't till last night that I had a vision of what the card could look like. I love how it came out and I used some Christmas paper and made a Christmas Card that uses non common Christmas Colors. Thank you for this challenge to think outside of my box. You should try the sketches here.

I used the new owl CuttleBug folder, I sanded it since I used a peach Core'dinations paper and added bling to the eyes. The letters I have used on several cards and I love them. I tore the edges and mounted it on Stampin'Up Brown card stock.

This card is for the ICS DT Call
This is the last card I made over the Holiday Weekend. I made this for the ICS DT Call. I used brown Stampin'Up Card Stock, with Bo Bunny Flowers, Bo Bunny Kitchen Spice Paper and the Bo Bunny Rust Dots Paper. I embossed Happy Birthday and sanded it so it would stand out. The sketch made me think and I have enjoyed making cards with ICS's sketches. I would love to join the team.

Birthday Invitation for Cuttlebug Challenge #47
I might have to take a better picture, but this is an invitation I did for the Cuttlebug Challenge #47 Birthday Invitation. It is a purple mug with fluff on the top -- as it is a Red Hat Birthday Party invitation to a Tea. We drink a lot of tea so I used a mug, with the handle cut out. I embossed Happy Birthday on red Embossing metal and added You're invited in Glittery Purple letter for the flash. This will be my birthday party and Candi's in December and we just have to choose where. I like to make something special and send them to the ladies.
Remember it is Red Hats and we are all about the glitz and flash. Thank you for the challenge to get this done early and I will print off the rest on the printer and put it inside. I will use red card stock with Purple printing.
This is the same card with 2 different color backgrounds. It looks better IRL.

This is my take on Unscripted Sketches #22
I worked on challenges today and got a few done. One that I finished was the Unscripted Sketches #22. I used the Kitchen Spice Paper from Bo Bunny with the rust dots that matched. I cut them out with the Stampin'up die and then a cuttle bug die. I embossed the cuttle bug die with a present and it says 4 you. I sanded it to give it a different look and used some ribbon on some brown cardstock from Stampin'Up.

ICSketch #32 finished on this Holiday
I was busy with card challenges today and relaxing for school to start tomorrow. I will be posting what I worked on, but I will start with the Inspirational Card Sketch #32. I made this a 5 X 5 card to fit in a vellum envelope. I used paper from a card kit I never did. I also found some great ribbon that matched along with the flower. I figure I will be using a lot of birthday cards and better have them ready for the events.
